This year marked the 50th anniversary of Conservation Week – communities banded together to clean up our beaches, families headed out into the great outdoors, scouts completed conservation tasks to earn a new badge, and rangers shared their mahi.

New Zealand is known globally for our efforts in conservation. We’re nowhere near done, but we’ve made considerable progress over the past 50 years.
