Conservation Week starts today and we’ve been busy planning and partnering up with local groups and businesses, to make sure there’s heaps happening throughout the week.

There are over 30 events this weekend alone!

From quizzes and competitions to geocaching and guided walks—there’s something for everyone.

Another simple way to celebrate Conservation Week is to get out into the natural world where you live.

I’m amazed at how many great, close-to-home, places there are to visit in New Zealand—and at how few people know about them!

DOC alone looks after more than 1,400 beautiful spots, for you to discover and enjoy.
